Zirconia ceramic foam filter is mainly used below 1700º C molten metal filtration. It is used for filtering all steel casting including carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, and cobalt and nickel based alloy casting etc. Zirconia Ceramic Foam Filter is made of zirconia ceramic; It can withstand temperatures up to about 1700 degrees Celsius, with very high mechanical strength and excellent thermal shock resistance. Suitable for all steel alloys (including stainless steel), and cobalt and nickel based alloy casting.
We can produce round, square and other geometric shapes of zirconia ceramic foam filter.
Size:
*From 40mm to 70mm, thickness from 20mm to 25mm, bore density from 10PPI-20PPI
*From 75mm to 120mm, thickness from 22mm to 25mm, bore density from 10PPI-20PPI
*From 125mm to 150mm, thickness from 25mm to 35mm, bore density from 10PPI-20PPI
Max filtering capacity:
Carbon steel: 1~2.7 kg/cm2.
Stainless steel: 1~ 4 kg/cm2.
We can produce according to customer requirements of different shapes, sizes and bore density.
Advantages:
Ceramic foam filters help to enhanced quality of castings and reduce cost
Special 3 structure to reduce turbulence of flowing molten metal
*Reduce defective rate of castings
*Improved mechanical properties of castings
*Improved precision of dimensions and shapes of castings
*Reduced costs of machining operations
*Simplify pouring systems and increase utilization ratio of mold
