Product Description

Automobile exhaust gases are conventionally purified with a catalyst supported on a ceramic body able to withstand high temperatures. The preferred catalyst support structure is a honeycomb configuration which includes a multiplicity of unobstructed parallel channels sized to permit gas flow and bounded by thin ceramic walls. The walls of these channels provide the surface for precious-metal catalysts that convert noxious emissions into carbon dioxide, nitrogen and water vapor. We can provide honeycomb ceramic substrate has been coated and non-coated precious-metal.

Exhaust Ceramic Honeycomb Substrate Catalyst

As support of catalyst, ceramic honeycomb materials are typically used for purifying automotive emission, removing bad smell ect, for instance, utilized in exhaust catalytic converter, air-fresher machine for hotel, restaurant, toilet and so on. As heat exchange media, ceramic honeycomb materials are mainly utilized in heat recovery unit of RTO.

As filtrate substrate, ceramic honeycomb materials generally utilized in food processing, environmental industry, metallurgical industry ect for filtering partjiculate in industrial waste gas and bubble in liquid of molten melt and making the molten melt laminar so as to increase casting yields, also filtering impurities in juice, dextrose and sucrose ect. The usual CPSI for honeycomb ceramic substrate is 400. The shape of honeycomb ceramic is round, racetrack, ellipse and other special shape according to the customer's requirement in order to meet the different cars models requirements. High specific surface area, low pressure drop, rapid light-off time and reliable & durable performance are achieved through high cell density of 400, 500 and 600 cpsi. All of these make our ceramic honeycomb an ideal catalyst substrate media for oxidation & reduction catalyst, At present, our typical substrate are available in a variety of sizes with the different shapes, such as: Round, elliptical, race track and so on.

Description:
*Our company can offer honeycomb ceramic substrate with different specification and differnt cars for the car converter as the customer request
*The ceramic substrate is made of cordierite, and it is used for car catalytic converter. The shape will be round, oval or racetrack. The major technical parameters for cordierite are as below
*Thermal Expansion Coefficient: ≤ 1.45x10-6/ 20-800
*Absorption Rate: 20~30%
*Inner Wall Thickness: 0.20+0.02mm
*CPSI ( cell pieces per square inch): 200-600
*Crushing Strength: ≥ 14 MPa (on the top)≥ 4 MPa (on the side)
*Soften temperature: ≥ 1360
*We can produce 100CPSI, 200CPSI, 400CPSI, 600CPSI can be in the shape of round, racetrack and ovral
*Can be coated with the catalyst and the noble metal as the customers emission standards: Euro II, EuroIII and EuroIV and EPA standard and the Cariforlia standards

Advantages:
*High specific surface area: Ensure exhaust gas could contact weigh catalyst enough
*Stable water absorption: Guarantee catalyst could be firmly and evenly coated on the surface of substrate, so it's no waste for too thick coating
*Warm up characters: After starting up engine, the temperature of substrate could reach the active temperature of catalyst in the shortest time
*Low exhaust resistance: Ask exhaust resistance of substrate to engine low, so that it won't affect the performance of engine
*High intensity: Substrates work in bumpy cars, so the intensity of substrates must be too high to be destroyed
*Perfect assembly: Substrates are parts of exhaust; Perfect appearance and exact dimension could ensure assembly perfect
